Exam & Visa Photo Resizer in 3 steps

  1. Select your photo and move the frame over your face and shoulders.
  2. Choose the size in pixels and the file size the form asks for, for example 200 × 230 px and 20 to 50 KB.
  3. Click Resize photo and download the JPG, ready to upload.

Two numbers the portal checks

Online application forms usually reject a photo for one of two reasons: the dimensions are wrong, or the file is too heavy or too light. Bank exams run by IBPS ask for 200 × 230 pixels between 20 and 50 KB, the US visa form DS-160 a square of 600 × 600 to 1200 × 1200 pixels under 240 KB, the Chinese visa online form 354 to 420 by 472 to 560 pixels between 40 and 120 KB, and Passport Seva 630 × 810 pixels. Doing this with two or three separate tools often breaks one number while fixing the other.

Here you frame the photo once, at the right proportions, and the tool saves a JPG at exactly the pixels you chose and with the best quality that stays inside the KB range. If the photo is lighter than the minimum, which happens with small sizes such as 200 × 230, the file is padded up to it without touching the picture. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo is not uploaded anywhere. Rules change between notices: check the current one before you apply.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize a photo to 200 × 230 pixels and 20–50 KB?

Select the photo, frame your face, and keep 200 × 230 px and 20 to 50 KB chosen. Click Resize photo: the JPG comes out at exactly 200 × 230 pixels and between 20 and 50 KB, as IBPS and other bank exams ask.

Why does the form say my photo is too small in KB?

Some portals set a minimum, such as 20 KB, and a 200 × 230 photo is often lighter than that. This tool adds the missing bytes inside the file without changing the picture, so it passes the check.

Can I use it for a US visa photo?

Yes. Choose 600 × 600 px and Under 240 KB. The DS-160 accepts square photos from 600 × 600 to 1200 × 1200 pixels up to 240 KB. Take the photo against a plain white or off-white background.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Cropping, resizing and compressing all run in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
