From raw CSV to a readable table
CSV files come out of banks, online shops, CRMs and survey tools, but opened as they are they are just text with commas. The converter detects the separator (comma, semicolon or tab) and the encoding, so files saved by Excel on Windows keep their accents, and lays the data out as a table with grid lines. Column widths follow the content, numbers are aligned to the right, and the first row is shown in bold and repeated at the top of every page when it is a header.
Wide files switch to landscape with slightly smaller text; if there are still too many columns, they are printed in blocks, like Excel does. Values longer than a column wrap onto several lines instead of being cut. Each file holds up to 10,000 rows; for bigger exports, split the CSV first.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with semicolon-separated CSV files?
Yes. Comma, semicolon and tab separators are detected automatically, so CSV files from European versions of Excel, which use semicolons and decimal commas, come out as proper columns without any setting to change.
Will long CSV files fit in the PDF?
Yes, up to 10,000 rows per file. The table continues over as many pages as needed and the header row is repeated at the top of each page, so every page can be read on its own when printed.
Why do accents look wrong in other converters?
CSV files can be saved in different encodings, and reading one as another turns é into é. This tool checks whether the file is UTF-8 or the older Windows encoding before converting, so names and addresses come out right.
Can I convert several CSV files at once?
Yes. Select up to 20 files and each one becomes its own PDF. When there is more than one, they are also offered together in one ZIP file.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded to a server?
No. The workbook is read and turned into a PDF inside your browser on your own device, so price lists, customer data and payroll figures are never sent to us or stored anywhere. Once the page has loaded it even works offline.
