Cookie Policy – How FreeOnlineFileConvert Uses Cookies

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser to remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way; in this policy we call them all “cookies”.
Our approach
We use as few cookies as possible. Your files never leave your device, and our usage statistics work without cookies. We only use the cookies the website needs to work and, if you agree, a few more for your preferences and, in the future, for advertising.
Types of cookies we use
- Necessary (always active): needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice and your login. They do not require your consent.
- Preferences: remember choices such as your language or that you have already seen an announcement, so we do not show it again.
- Analytics: we do not currently use any analytics cookies. Our statistics are cookie-free. This category is reserved in case that changes, and it would only be activated with your consent.
- Advertising: not active yet. When we show ads (Google AdSense or other partners), these cookies may be used to show and measure ads, personalised or not. They will only be used if you accept them.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Customise by category. All three options are equally visible, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Until you choose, only necessary cookies are used.
You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. We keep your choice for 12 months; after that, we will ask you again.
We use Google Consent Mode v2: if you do not accept advertising cookies, Google is told not to use cookies or personal data for advertising, and only non-personalised ads may be shown.

Third-party cookies and sign-in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may use its own cookies on its own domains during sign-in, under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/technologies/cookies). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a necessary security cookie to tell people and bots apart.
How to block or delete cookies in your browser
You can also delete cookies or block them from your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as signing in, will not work. Instructions for the most common browsers:
