Add Name and Date to Photo in 3 steps
- Select your photo.
- Type your name as it appears in the application, and the date (leave it empty for today).
- Click Add text and download the JPG. Resize it with Exam & Visa Photo Resizer if the form sets pixels or KB.
Name and date where the form wants them
Several recruitment notices ask for a photograph with the candidate's name and the date of taking the photo printed on it, so a photo cannot be reused for years. Photo studios do it with a printed strip; this tool does the same on your own photo. The text goes in a white band under the picture, in bold black letters sized to fit the width, so long names stay on one line. If the form wants the photo to keep its exact size, choose On the bottom of the photo and the band covers only the lowest part.
Leave the date empty to use today's date in your device's format, or type it as the notice asks (for example 14-10-2026). Then, if the form sets a pixel size or a KB range, run the result through Exam & Visa Photo Resizer. Your photo stays on your device: nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add my name and date to a photo?
Select the photo, type your name and the date, and click Add text. The name and date appear in a white band under the photo. Download the JPG and upload it to the form.
Which date should I write?
The date the photo was taken, in the format the notice uses. Leave the field empty to use today, which is right if you have just taken the photo.
The form also asks for a size in KB. What do I do?
After adding the text, open Exam & Visa Photo Resizer, choose the pixels and the KB range from the notice, and resize the labelled photo.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The text is drawn in your browser on your own device and nothing is sent to us.
