Resize Signature in 3 steps

  1. Sign in dark ink on white paper, take a photo or scan, and select it here.
  2. Choose the file size and dimensions the form asks for.
  3. Click Resize signature and download the JPG.

Why forms reject signatures, and how to get it right

Government exam portals, banks and job sites ask for a scanned signature with strict limits, usually a JPG between 10 and 20 KB. IBPS asks for 140 × 60 pixels; SSC asks for about 6 × 2 cm. A phone photo is several megabytes and full of empty paper, so the upload is refused or the signature comes out tiny and blurred.

The tool finds your signature on the page and crops it with a small margin, evens out shadows so the paper turns white and the ink dark, then saves a JPG at the highest quality that fits the size you chose. If a very small image is under the minimum even at the best quality, harmless padding is added inside the file so it meets the limit; the signature itself does not change. Always check the latest notice of your exam, as requirements change.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize my signature to 20 KB?

Select a photo or scan of your signature, keep "10 to 20 KB" or choose "Under 20 KB", and click Resize signature. The tool crops the signature, cleans the background and finds the best JPG quality that stays under 20 KB. The final size is shown on the download button.

What size should a signature be for SSC and IBPS forms?

SSC notices ask for a JPG signature of 10 to 20 KB, about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high. IBPS asks for 140 × 60 pixels (preferred) and 10 to 20 KB. Choose the matching dimensions here, but always check the notice of your exam, because other exams and years can differ.

How do I take a good photo of my signature?

Sign with a black or dark blue pen on plain white paper, in your usual running hand. Photograph it in daylight from straight above, without your shadow over the paper and without zoom. Clean background evens out light and grey paper, but a sharp photo still gives the best result.

Why is my signature file smaller than 10 KB?

A small signature on white compresses very well, so a 140 × 60 pixel JPG is only a few KB even at top quality. When you choose "10 to 20 KB", the tool adds blank padding inside the file to reach the minimum. The image stays exactly the same and opens normally everywhere.

Is my signature uploaded to a server?

No. Your signature is cropped, cleaned and resized inside your browser on your own device, so it is never sent to us or stored anywhere. That matters for something as personal as a signature. Once the page has loaded it even works offline.
