ID Card Front and Back on One Page in 3 steps

  1. Photograph both sides of the card close up, then select the front first and the back second.
  2. Choose an A4 PDF at the real card size, a larger A4 PDF, or one JPG image.
  3. Click Make page and download the file.

A photocopy of both sides, without a photocopier

Banks, landlords, employers and many online forms ask for "a copy of your ID, both sides, in one file". With a phone you end up with two photos, and most forms only take one upload. This tool places the front above the back on a single A4 page. At the real card size (85.6 × 54 mm, the size of every bank card and most ID cards) the printout looks exactly like a photocopy; the large layout makes the text easier to read on screen; the JPG option gives one picture for forms that do not take PDFs.

For the real-size layout, take the photos close so the card fills the frame, or crop them first with Crop Image: any table around the card would make the card itself smaller on the page. You can add several cards at once (front, back, front, back…): each pair gets its own page. ID cards are as private as documents get, so everything happens in your browser and the photos are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How do I put both sides of my ID on one page?

Select the photo of the front and then the photo of the back, keep A4 PDF chosen and click Make page. You get one PDF page with the front above the back, ready to print or upload.

Will the printout be the real size of the card?

Yes, with A4 PDF, real card size, if your photos are cropped to the card. Print at 100 % (not "fit to page") and the card measures 85.6 × 54 mm, like a photocopy.

Can I do several cards at once?

Yes. Select them in pairs, front then back. Each pair goes on its own page of the same PDF, or in its own JPG.

Is my ID card uploaded?

No. The page is made in your browser on your own device. Your ID photos are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
