Why send JPG photos as a PDF
Forms, landlords and HR departments often ask for "a PDF" even when what you have is a phone photo of a document. Converting the photos keeps everything in one file, in the right order, and stops the pages from getting mixed up in an email.
Each image becomes one page with the same proportions as the photo, so nothing is cropped or stretched. The JPG is placed in the PDF without being re-compressed, so the quality is identical to your original picture.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine several JPG images into one PDF?
Yes. Select up to 20 images at once and each one becomes a page. Use the up and down buttons to set the order before converting, and you get a single PDF file with all of them.
Will my photos lose quality?
No. The JPG data is embedded in the PDF exactly as it is, without a second round of compression. If you zoom into the PDF you will see the same detail as in the original photo.
What page size will the PDF have?
Each page takes the size and orientation of its image, so portrait photos give portrait pages and landscape photos give landscape pages. Nothing is cropped, stretched or surrounded by white margins.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser on your own device, so your files are never sent to us or stored anywhere. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
