Rotate Image in 3 steps
- Select your images, or drop them on the box.
- Choose how to rotate them and, if needed, how to flip them.
- Click Rotate images and download them one by one or in a ZIP.
Why photos show up sideways
Phones and cameras often store a photo sideways and add a small tag telling viewers to turn it. Some websites, printers and older programs ignore that tag, so the picture appears on its side. This tool applies the tag first and then your rotation, so the saved image is the right way up everywhere, with no hidden instruction left to misread.
Flipping makes a mirror image: a horizontal flip fixes selfies where text reads backwards, and a vertical flip turns the picture upside down like a reflection in water. Each image keeps its format (JPG, PNG or WebP) and its full resolution, and transparent PNG backgrounds stay transparent.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate an image online?
Select one or more images, choose 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise or 180°, and click Rotate images. The preview shows the result before you save. Each picture downloads in its original format, or all of them together in a ZIP.
How do I flip an image horizontally?
Choose "Horizontal (mirror)" under Flip and set Rotate to "No rotation". The image is mirrored from left to right, which fixes selfies with backwards text. A vertical flip turns the picture upside down, as if reflected in water.
Can I rotate several photos at once?
Yes. Select up to 20 images and they are all turned the same way. If some need a different rotation, run the tool again with just those photos. The downloads keep the original file names with "-rotated" added.
Does rotating reduce the quality?
PNG images are saved without any loss. JPG and WebP photos are saved again at high quality (92 percent), so the difference is not visible. The resolution is kept; only the width and height swap when you turn a picture by 90 degrees.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The images are rotated inside your browser on your own device, so they are never sent to us or stored anywhere. Once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working even without an internet connection.
