Increase Image Size in KB in 3 steps

  1. Select the photo or signature that the form says is too small.
  2. Choose the minimum size, for example 20 KB.
  3. Click Increase size and download the JPG.

When a form says the file is too small

Many exam and job portals accept a photo only between two sizes, such as 20 to 50 KB, and a small, well compressed photo or a signature can weigh only 5 or 8 KB. Making the picture bigger in pixels would break the dimensions the form also checks. This tool keeps the picture exactly as it is and adds empty bytes inside the JPG file (a comment segment that image viewers ignore) until it reaches the minimum you choose.

The result opens everywhere like the original and looks the same, because not one pixel changes. PNG and WebP files are first saved as a high-quality JPG, the format almost every form wants. A file that already weighs more than the minimum is given back unchanged. If you also need exact pixels, Exam & Visa Photo Resizer does both in one step. Nothing is uploaded: the file is processed in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

How do I increase a photo from 10 KB to 20 KB?

Select the photo, choose 20 KB and click Increase size. The JPG you download weighs a little over 20 KB and looks exactly the same as before.

Does it make the photo bigger or better?

No, and that is the point: the dimensions and the picture stay the same, so the form's pixel check still passes. Only the file size in KB goes up.

Will the portal accept the file?

Yes, it is a normal JPG. The extra bytes sit in a comment section that every viewer and upload checker skips.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The file is changed in your browser on your own device and nothing is sent to us.
