PDF to JPG in 3 steps
- Select a PDF file, or drop it on the box.
- Choose the resolution. 150 DPI suits screens, 300 DPI suits printing.
- Click Convert to JPG and download the images, one per page, in a ZIP.
PDF to image: which resolution to pick
A PDF page has no fixed pixel size, so the resolution decides how sharp your JPG will be. 72 DPI gives a small image that is fine for a quick preview. 150 DPI is the sweet spot for screens, slides and social media. 300 DPI is print quality: text stays crisp even when you zoom in, but the files are about four times larger.
Every page becomes its own JPG, named with the page number so the order is never lost. When the PDF has several pages, you get them all in a single ZIP file. If your pages are mostly text, diagrams or screenshots, PDF to PNG keeps edges sharper than JPG.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF to JPG for free?
Select your PDF above, choose a resolution and click Convert to JPG. Each page is turned into a JPG image in your browser and you download them straight away. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on the number of pages.
Can I convert a PDF to JPG without losing quality?
Choose High quality (300 DPI). At that resolution text and fine lines stay sharp, even when printed. JPG compresses slightly, so for documents full of small text, PDF to PNG gives a pixel-perfect result at the cost of larger files.
Does every page become a separate JPG?
Yes. Each page is saved as its own image, named after the original file plus the page number. When there is more than one page, you get a single ZIP with all of them so you do not have to download each image separately.
Does it work on iPhone, Android and Mac?
Yes. The converter runs in any modern browser, including Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. On a phone, very large PDFs at 300 DPI can use a lot of memory, so pick 150 DPI if the conversion stops.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs inside your browser on your own device, so your files are never sent to us or stored anywhere. Once the page has loaded you could even disconnect from the internet and it would keep working.
